For me being a preschool teacher is a journey of love. I truly enjoy caring, nuturing and guiding our preschoolers. I have a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University and a Masters of Education from the University of Missouri St. Louis. In my classroom, I have two primary goals: Experience It and Be Comfortable.

Young children's brains are growing at a rapid pace, and it is our job as parents and educators to let them experience the world around them with their five senses. I want to engage the whole child! Just as important for children is gaining comfort in learning how to be away from the home for learning, how to get along with new friends, and how to expand their vocabulary or motor skills without pressure. Much of this happens through independent and structured play, circle time, singing, and games. I will provide parents with information and skills inventories to make sure your little one is achieving or surpassing the appropriate milestones in their life.

I enjoy time with my family which includes two daughters, my hubby and a Weimaraner. In my free time, I enjoy watching old movies, reading, and planning activities at church. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loves at all times" a simple yet powerful verse for all ages.
