Preschool Summer Camp 2017

Preschool Summer Camp Registration

June 12th-16th - Under Construction:

We will get to work building knowledge with this construction zone theme. Students will enjoy learning songs, rhymes, literacy ideas, math activities, movement activities, recipes, and literature focusing on the workers, the machines, and the tools that build the structures we use and visit every day. Children will develop vocabulary, add, subtract, sequence, read, match shapes, count, and so much more as they learn about the world of construction. So, put on a hard hat and a tool belt and let’s put this theme to work!

June 26th-30th - All American Week:

My Country ’Tis of Thee! The 4th of July is celebrated in the United States each year. It is a celebration of the anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence! Traditional celebrations include flying the American flag, parades, picnics and fireworks displays! Children will prepare for celebrating the USA’s Independence through various enrichment activities including crafts, songs, cooking, dramatic play, games and much more!

July 17th-21st - Career Week:

Preschool children are inquisitive and curious about the world around them. Types of jobs and the people who do them are often introduced to young children as "helpers" or "community friends." Meeting real people who do the jobs they are learning about creates an exciting atmosphere in the classroom. Reading books about different careers also adds to the learning experience. However, a career day can be even more exciting when preschool leaders offer hands-on activities. We will experience a career week! We will invite various professionals to the classroom to engage the kids with lots of fun learning in multiple areas of vocation!

July 31-August 4th - Bon Voyage Summer:

We will say “so long” to summer in this week full of summer fun activities. We will go “camping”, “boating”, “swimming”, and lots more to culminate a summer full of fun, learning, and friends. Students will get to experience lots of those summer bucket list experiences that fill out a classic summer break. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled week!
